General Candle Information
Each and every candle is hand poured and comes in a pint-sized jar. We do our best to make sure that each wick is centered, each color is perfect, and each scent is pleasing and strong enough to last and be noticed. Candles burn approximately 75 to 80 hours or longer.

We are in the transition of moving from "regular" jars that are ribbon-tied to wide-mouth jars. They are the same size, just wider at the top which will aid you in lighting the candle when it gets low. Wide-mouth candles may appear not to be burning all the way across, especially if they do not burn for very long at one time. However, after the candle burns about one to one and a half inches in, the wax left on the sides will also burn down. For best results, leave them burn for at least four hours the first time.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, however, you will not currently be able to use the shopping cart to order to countries other than the US and Canada. I aplogize for any inconvenience but currently if you would like to place an order outside of those areas you need to email me. Mostly this is because international shipping varies so greatly and is much more expensive than domestic shipping, especially when one considers that the candles can be quite heavy. If you are interested in placing an international order, please send an email with your country of location and what you would like to order and we'll send you back a shipping estimate. If you are still interested after that, you may send your full address and payment and we will ship your candles!

I got an email about an order that I've already received, what's going on?
In order to keep things smooth and organized for our tax purposes and other things, orders are often inputted into the shopping cart even though they were not origionally placed via that method. You may receive an email for this or you may not (especially phone and mail orders in which an email address is not given). Typically we will let you know that this is going to be the case so you will be aware of this before receiving any emails, but in case you were not or did not receive notification, if you have already received the order, or sent payment, etc., you may just skip the email or keep it for your records. However, you can always feel safe with us - your information is always protected and never sold, rented, or given away.

Why do some scents offer more than one size while others do not?
As a general rule, only the more popular and the new scents will be available in all sizes. Typically the smaller sizes sell faster than the large size and so, even with scents that are more popular, the smaller sizes may be of limited quantity. However, as with any scent we offer, we can always special make it for you! If it is not available on the website, drop us an email from the contact page and let us know what you're needing. If it is available on the website but is out of stock when you place an order, we will make it for you right away!

What are "wickless candles" or "warmers"?
"Warmers," as seen on our website are sometimes referred to as "wickless candles." These are flatter 8oz jars that contain the same wax, coloring, and scent capacity of regular candles but do not have a wick. They are for the elctric warmer plates you might find in stores like Wal-mart or Hobby Lobby. I do often keep the electric plates on hand, so if you need one of these, please let us know; they are typically $5 (cost to us). The Warmers are melted with the electric plate, typically over an hour's time, and the scent is released as the wax melts. It has the same effect as a candle, except that there is no flame, they last a bit longer (because there is no flame to burn away the wax), and they do not typically get as hot (again, because there is no flame). I really cannot give an estimate on how long they will last - it all depends on, obviously, how long you leave the warmer on (if you leave it go overnight, for example, it will still be working but chances are no one will be nearby to enjoy it) as well as the scent (some scents in themselves are just more subtile than others or not as long-lasting, etc). Do you offer bulk ordering?
If you are in need of six or more of the same scent, drop us an email and let us know what and how many you need. Chances are we can work with you on pricing and/or shipping costs. This does not apply to Nutmeg & Cedar, however; as that is our most popular internet scent, please see that page for details on discounts for ordering in bulk amounts.

Can you make me a candle in this glassware I have?
Would you like to have a custom-made candle in your own container? We can do that! Be sure to send us an email. We would need to know as much as possible about the container:
-- What is it made of?
-- Has it been used to hold a candle before?
-- If so, do you know what kind of wax was in the candle?
-- What are the dimensions?
-- What is the approximate capacity? (Pint, half-pint, etc.)
If possible, we would like to see a photo of the container as well.
